The best answer hands down.

Episode 10 Violet Evergarden.

Damn you for making me remember that episode :(
VE and Koe no Katachi are the only anime that got me close into tearing up (I never cried to an anime). It's always the mothers, too.

  1. Sanae- Clannad
  2. Hana- Wolf Children
  3. Sachiko- Erased

She's so fluffy ♡I love her :)

She's too pure

Rinko Iori, Gundam Build Fighters

The YuigaMama from Oregairu.

Also honorary mention to Akari from 3-gatsu no Lion, for being the best mom a big sister can be.

Both answers are great! But it's Sanae for me as well.

Yui's mum is definitely my favourite! Shame we don't see much of her though.

Kushina from Naruto.

How is no one mentioning Mito from HxH? It's not biological but she's still gon's mother nonetheless ;)

Riko's mother, Lysa "The Annihilator" from made in Abyss

That's a badass nickname for a mother XD

Made a favourite parents thing and my fave moms are in there!

Goddamn just looking at the Shirase one made me tear up slightly. Boy, that's a hell of a weak spot.

Momma Fujisaki is a great one! Pleasantly surprised to see any sort of SKET Dance around these ends!!

Akane is my favourite anime mom <3

Yoshie Hanabatake from Aho Girl

Touko Fujiwara from Natsume Yuujinchou (his adoptive mother). She's super sweet, patient, loving, and honestly an ideal mother for a child that isn't even her own.

How's Natsume Yuujinchou?I see a lot of people embrace it but I don't know what it is about.

It's a really nice slice of life about a boy that can see youkai (spirits) and was ostracized from society (including his original family). After coming into possession of a book of contracts his grandmother had with youkai, he begins to interact with these youkai and how they begin to shape his daily life, allowing him to find friendship and peace in both his daily "real" life and his life with the supernatural.

It's a very mellow and gentle show that is tinged in bittersweet. At the start, it might be a little slow, but I think it is really good, especially as you begin to empathize with Natsume as a character (since the show approaches pretty human feelings like insecurity and so on).

Definitely would recommend it!

Darling in the Franxx kokoro I guess
