What's your favorite dub?

What's the best dub to an anime you've ever heard? Mine would have to be FMA: Brotherhood, followed closely by Gurren Lagann.

Ghost stories

I can hear the quotes already

Probably Toradora, since I can listen to Cassandra Lee all day. She made SAO so much better too.
Also Dragon Ball Kai. The VA work improved 1000% from the original Funi dub.

≫Probably Toradora, since I can listen to Cassandra Lee all day.
Ritsu is also the best voiced role in K-On. And my least favorite character, so that's saying something.

She's also Kyubey and I didn't make the connection at the time but something was "off" about Taiga in my head until I was able to place it and will myself to ignore it. She's so recognizable it was like trying not to hear at least a little bit of Armstrong when All Might is talking.

I love Yu Yu Hakusho. I've watched it several times and read it multiple times. I own the blurays and all the manga. It still bothers me that people pronounce Urameshi with the 'u' sound from 'universe' rather than an 'oo' sound, which is how it's pronounced in Japanese. Other than that though the dub is really good.

That's the only reason i don't watch the dub lol

Cowboy Bebop

I loved Steve Blum as Orochimaru in Naruto. But his role as Spike solidified it for me as how good of a VA he is

Nobody has mentioned FLCL yet? FOR SHAME!

Kari Wahlgren was born to play Haruko. Shame she's most recognised as saber and celty

Also Fuu from Samurai Champloo. But I totally agree, Haruko is the role that started it all and the one that she will always be the most connected to in my mind.

Most Funimation comedies have solid dubs.

Space Dandy, baby

FMA:B for sure. I'm also quite partial to Casshern Sins' dub, though this is because many VAs from FMA/FMA:B starred in it too.

Definitely Bacanno! The V.A.s for Isaac and Miria absolutely capture the energy of the characters .

My favourite dub as well, love the accents. I thought the V.A. for Ladd Russo was perfect for the character.

Besides the same anime that gets posted in these threads, I love Is This A Zombies dubs.
Also I love Aniz voice in Overlord, the voice is perfect.

The Madoka Magica dub is absolutely on point.

Came here looking for this! QB and Sayaka's english VA's carry the dub for me.

The Melancholy/Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, mainly because Crispin Freeman as Kyon is damn near perfection. If we're talking more recent dubs, then I truly consider Mob Psycho 100 to be one of the greats.

Spice and Wolf!!
Though I like the sub just as much...

Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann, FMA: Brotherhood and Black Lagoon.

Neon Genesis Evangelion (the original TV series).

Dragon ball Z. Goku's voice in the sub is too high pitched.
Otherwise Death Note is really well done.

Since my other picks have already been mentioned

Ben-To has an amazing dub. Trina Nishimura's Sen is probably my favorite kuudere performance and Austin Tindle does a great job making everything sound so extreme; he makes lines like "I didn't even know it had mushrooms" sound like the most life changing revelation ever.

The Jormungand dub is great too, mostly due to how Anastasia Munoz totally nails Koko's personality despite being typecast as a straight man in almost every other role (Like she was in Ben-To). It also has Carli Mosier and I'll watch any dub with her in it.

Code Geass

FMAB, space dandy, panty & stocking and Baccano; are all amazing dubs. Maybe space dandy is the better of that lot, which makes sense as it was targeted at a western audience.
Most the time I don't bother checking out dubs as I'm extremely picky with them. So probably missed some good ones.

I've always loved the dubs for shows like Shin Chan and Panty and Stocking.
I think English dubs are at their best when the shows don't take themselves too seriously. I love when they go all out.
